The  Technique Junkie Design Team is celebrating  February with our monthly blog hop showcasing all of the new designs for this month.
If you are following the Technique Junkies Blog Hop, you have arrived here from  Beth Norman's blog.  Isn't her work incredible? If THIS is your first stop, please take a moment to start at the Design Team’s blog at techniquejunkies.blogspot.com so that you don’t miss any of the great artwork!

You can SAVE during these celebration days as well.  The February release stamps will be on SALE (15% OFF) until the 8th!  Be sure to check them out and take advantage of the sale!

I am featuring such a great stamp set this month:Palm Trees, set of 3. Just a perfect sentiment and one of the many reasons I moved to warmer weather here in the South!  Even though our palms in SC are technically Palmettos - it still fits!

The background was created using distress inks and layering stencils- I love this technique because you get such and organic feel.

Of course I used my MISTI for the stamping- almost a must for the silhouette stamps- and I just love how the Distress Paint layering shines through the Archival Black soot ink on the palm trees giving it an ethereal feel.

Thanks for joining me today and be sure to continue on the hop and don't miss any of the great inspiration from these talented artists.  Your next stop on the hop is the super talented Judy Jackson!
Below is the entire blog listing -be sure to check them all out and return to the TJ website where you can find and purchase all these fantastic stamps!
